THEATRE AT EPIDAUROS

The Theatre at Epidauros, a place in Greece, was a stage for entertainment. Artists in those days expressed their beliefs through music, poetry and dance. With its big seating area The Theatre gave an opportunity to a lot of people to get entertained. The performances took place in the central area, where the people would sit on the elevated seating for better viewing. In today's world a lot of change happened with new technology, theatre performances have become cinemas and cinema in turn has gone to animation technology which can produce lot of ideas. Even though we have lot of technology, still at this very present day, lot of people still love to watch stage performances and dramas and there are people who love to perform live stage shows for e.g. operas, dramas, and plays and also encourage others to watch.

NEFERTITI

Nefertiti was the wife of the king Akhenaten. The features of the Nefertiti’s sculpture are very ideal. Very long neck and heavy lidded eyes, she was very beautiful and also called as the “mistress of happiness”. The artist of this sculpture made use of colors very beautifully to depict the original beauty. The hues of the blue headdress and its colorful band are repeated in the rich red, blue, green, and gold of the jewelry. The artist has learned the techniques to make the sculpture to look real. In today’s world artists are capable of doing anything. They can make Ice sculptures too; it is very fascinating that how they do the work by using different kinds of materials with different and appropriate colors to portray the sculpture.
